Huang Chushan

Huang Chushan has participated in more than 500 movies since 1932 .and until his film "Rouge Soul" (February 1966, a Mandarin movie, playing the role of Cao Dongsheng). During the Pacific War, Huang Chushan formed the "Star Troupe" with others to perform dramas in Nanyang as the nickname. Huang Chushan, who is good at playing grassroots little people, was originally a Cantonese opera literary . He joined Hong Kong Tianyi Film Company as an actor in 1935 and retired in 1966. Before the war, he played more villainous roles. After the war, he act as a kind-hearted little people who struggled to survive, loving fathers, loyal servants, etc. In "Big Brothers and Sisters in a Splendid Life", Huang Chushan and Huang Manli changed their images of poor and humble couples, and transformed into aggressive women and sissy dead grass. The sense of comedy is impressive. On the evening of January 26, 1948 (Monday), Huang Chushan sang for the first time in Hong Kong. He sang the Cantonese opera "Blood Stained" with Lu Xiaoxian, a Cantonese opera singer, on Radio Hong Kong for the 17th anniversary of the Hong Kong "Ling Xing" film, drama and entertainment publication. Huang Chushan had a slight stroke on June 17, 1957, and a tiny blood vessel burst in his brain. He was admitted to the hospital for a total of 10 days. On August 1, 1957, the filming of the movie "Blood on Gold" resumed. On the evening of May 22, 1967 (Monday), more than 100 people participated in the "Gala Dinner in Congratulations to Huang Chushan's Retirement" at the "Far East Hotel". On June 13, 1967 (Thursday) at 2 pm, Huang Chushan moved to San Francisco, USA with his family by a civil airliner. Huang Chushan and his wife returned to Hong Kong on October 29, 1984 (Monday), after they left Hong Kong for nearly 20 years.
