Li Yueqing

Li Yueqing, (1918-1997) Hong Kong late Cantonese film actress, originally from Hunan. Since the 1930s, she has participated in hundreds of movies in total. Her husband is the director Li Chenfeng, who was one of the representatives of Cantonese literary films in the 1950s and 1960s. He has a strong literati temperament, can edit and direct, and has adapted many famous Chinese and foreign works. Her son is Li Zhaoxiong, the former director of TV drama production of Li Zhaoxiong. Li Zhaoxiong is good at shooting ethical TV dramas that reflect the changes of the times. He, Mai Dangxiong and Tu Yongxiong are called "Li's Three Heroes". The daughter-in-law is the current TVB producer Wang Xinwei, who was once a producer under Zeng Lizhen, the drama production director of the production department. Li Yueqing is good at playing the role of a loving mother. For example, Li Yueqing played the role of "Sister-in-law Guang" in the 1961 film "Fire Cave Orchid" directed by Li Tie. Li Yueqing, Huang Manli, Ma Xiaoying, Chen Pimei, Rong Yuyi, Li Wen, Ganlu, Li Zhuozhuo, Li Qianyan, Gao Weilan, Xu Yi, Zheng Wenxia and other licorice actress are collectively known as the Twelve Gold Hairpins. From the 1970s to the 1980s, she still played elderly roles in TV dramas produced by Yuli TV and TVB, such as Aunt Dake who had participated in Lili's TV series "Grace from the Earth", and "Chameleon" as a deaf sister Wait, they are very popular.
