Liu Yong

Liu Yong (Anthony Lau, February 7, 1950 -), formerly known as Liu Tianjue, is a famous Shaw actor in the 1970s. His mother is Li Wen, a famous licorice actress in Hong Kong. He studied at St. Paul's College in middle school, and became a film actor at the age of eighteen. He has learned Liuhe Bafaquan and participated in Bruce Lee's "Brother Tangshan" and "The Way of the Dragon". In 1974, Wu Ma directed "The King of Seven Provinces" was his first film as the leading role. Joined Shaw Brothers Film Company in 1975 and became one of the hottest niches in Shaw Brothers Company at that time. He became Li Hanxiang's love general and godson. Li Nian played the role of Qianlong in "The Adventures of Emperor Qianlong" and became very popular. All the films in the "Qianlong" series are directed by Li Hanxiang. Played leading roles in such films as "Children of the Rivers and Lakes" directed by Hua Shan, "Navy Commando" directed by Zhang Che, "Lu Xiaofeng" directed by Chu Yuan, "Xiao Shishi Lang" and "Mysterious Flower Destroyer" directed by He Menghua. Liu Yong joined ATV in 1984 and became famous as the leading actor in the 1986 drama "Qin Shi Huang". Later, he acted in "Genghis Khan" and many other TV series. Most of his performances are on ATV, and he rarely appears on TVB, which is rare even now. Later, in 1995 and 2000, he directed and acted in two films, "The Killer" and "The Baroness". Since 2005, he has made many movies and TV series. Liu Yong is familiar with his two marriages. The first wife is Taiwanese artist Dai Liangchun, and the second wife is Li Yanshan, the first Miss Asia champion. They have a son and a daughter. Both marriages ended in divorce.
