Zeng Chulin曾楚霖

Zeng Chulin曾楚霖 was born in Hong Kong on August 20, 1921. He studied at La Salle College in middle school, and later studied and graduated from St. John's University in Shanghai. He is proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Japanese. Served as an intelligence officer for the Nationalist Government during World War II. Zeng Chulin joined the Qing Gang in Shanghai during the Anti-Japanese War. He was Du Yuesheng's assistant and Dai Li's subordinate. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he returned to Hong Kong and started his acting career as a teacher and a part-time special actor. Later, he acted as an actor and assistant director, and acted in a large number of films. Radio Television Hong Kong's "Under the Lion Rock" and many other episodes are written by him. After performing in Jiayi TV, he joined TVB on October 15, 1976. He is good at acting as small people, low-level people and fellow Taoists. In 1982 TVB celebration, Zeng Chulin received the "Special Long Service Award". Because of his unremarkable appearance, he has played supporting roles for many years. Zeng Chulin was unknown in the entertainment industry, and finally met a role that made him shine at the age of 59. In 1980, he participated in the classic TV series "Shanghai Beach" starring Zhou Yunfa, playing the role of "Uncle Xiang" under Feng Jingyao, the black boss, as Shanghai Apart from Feng Jingyao, Uncle Xiang, the subordinate of the big boss Feng Jingyao, is considered the most powerful. this made him famous, and he has participated in many TV dramas since then. Zeng Chulin is good at dancing and is a "stand-in dancer" for movie star Chen Hou. As a college student, why is Zeng Chulin willing to be a licorice actor? To paraphrase Li Wo's words to describe Zeng Chulin, "the fortune is not good". After liberation, Du Yuesheng could not protect himself, and lived in seclusion in Hong Kong, let alone his subordinates. In the 1950s and 1960s, Hong Kong's economy was extremely poor. When Zeng Chulin was young, he also worked behind the scenes of movies, and his life was not poor. In his later years, he was full of children and grandchildren. Zeng Chulin was found unconscious at home by her daughter on the evening of September 12, 1988, and was sent to hospital where she died at the age of 67.
