The grievances between Ti Lung and David Chiang

Ti Lung and David Chiang have co-produced about 40 films in the last century. At the same time, they studied under the director of Chang Cheh. They hit it off when they were filming "Dead End". Many years later, in 1986, Ti Lung won the Golden Horse Best Actor Award with "The True Colors of a Hero". It is reported that he and David Jiang met backstage. David Jiang generously congratulated Ti Lung. In the same frame as the promotional event of the 40th anniversary film "Brave Heroes" recalled by his mentor Zhang Cheh, Jiang Dawei put his arms around Ti Lung and said, "This Brother Long, our brother for more than ten years." In 2014, they replaced the late good brother Wu Ma Fuling; although there are still many chances to meet each other, but after all, over the past 40 years, the number of interactions between the two can be counted on the fingers. The two really settled their suspicions when they were in the same frame at the "Ten Thousand Stars Awards Ceremony 2021" of Hong Kong TVB TV station. At the ceremony that night, David Jiang's brother Qin Pei presented him with an award. Ti Lung was also personally present the award to his old friend David Jiang in 2022.
