Hongwei 紅薇
Hongwei 紅薇(1918-October 12, 2011), formerly known as Luo Zhen, was born in Manchuria with the Yellow Banner. Her surname was Yehenala. She left her family at the age of twelve and entered the society. She joined a song and dance troupe with her elder brother to perform. She made her debut, and participated in the performance of many Mandarin films in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s. In 1941, she starred in the film and television works "The Legend of the Red Fu", "The Flame of Desire" and "The Blessed Lady". On September 13, 1975, the starring movie "Ghost Story" was released in Hong Kong. On June 8, 1989, the starring movie "Ghost Chaser" was released in Hong Kong; in 1993, she won the Golden Horse Award for Special Achievement. Hongwei's two husbands are both in the film and television industry, and her three sons are more "famous" than the other. Qin Pei, Jiang David, and Er Dongsheng, these three well-known bigwigs in the Hong Kong film and television industry, are all the sons of Hongwei. Hongwei and her first husband, Yan Hua, had four sons and one daughter. Qin Pei and Jiang Dawei were the sons of Hongwei and Yan Hua (real name Jiang Keqi). After Yan Hua died, Hongwei remarried with Er Guang, and Er Dongsheng was the their son. Hongwei passed away at the French Hospital (St. Teresa's Hospital) on Prince Edward Road in Hong Kong at 18:00 on October 12, 2011, at the age of 93.
