Law Lok Lam (羅樂林)

Law Lok Lam (羅樂林) was born in Hong Kong on October 20, 1948. He lived in Hong Kong after studying in Macau until the second grade of middle school. During school, Luo Lelin was exposed to Muay Thai. He can also calligraphy and play the violin, and then settled down with his father at home in North Point, Hong Kong Island. When Luo Lelin came to Hong Kong to develop, he worked as a tour leader in his father's travel agency, and as a car follower in a relative's plastic factory. In 1969, he and his friends applied for the ninth training course of the Shaw Brothers Nanguo Experimental Theater Troupe. As a modern dancer, he participated in the 1970 film "Little Evil Star" directed by Chang Cheh. In the same year, he was recommended to work in the production department of Shaw Brothers Films because of Chang Cheh's appreciation. He participated in the role of Ronaldinho in the movie "Young Man" in 1972. Law Lok Lam has participated in some Cantonese films such as and movie series "Youth Fifteen and Twenty" as a special actor. His first TV series was "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" in 1975. As early as 1976, Law Lok Lam performed the TV series "The Legend of Condor Heroes" on Jiayi TV. He was the first actor in Hong Kong to play the leading actor Yang Guo. Law Lok Lam's most familiar performance for many years in the industry is playing the role of "Stock God" Ye Tian in "The Great Times", who has become insane due to stock trading. He once passed on his stock knowledge to the protagonist Fang Zhanbo (Liu Qingyun), and before he died, he taught Fang a weird poem called "The Method of Winning in Stocks". In 2014, Law Lok Lam was awarded the "Professional Actor Award" at the "Thousands of Stars Awards Ceremony 2014"; to affirm and commend his contribution and dedication in the entertainment industry. Law Lok Lam's wife is actress Chen Baoyi, who is the younger sister of movie star Chen Baozhu. On February 24, 2022, Law Lok Lam was diagnosed with the new crown virus and then recovered.
