Ma Chiu Chee

Ma Chiu Chee (1935-1984), Ma Chiu Chee was a very popular radio artist back then. Leung Shu-yi is the producer, and Ma Chiu Chee plays the role of Jin Jie in the drama. In the early 1980s, after immigrating to Canada, Ma Chiu Chee rented the open channel of the public radio station for a few hours every week as an amateur Cantonese program broadcast. Afterwards, many Hong Kong people immigrated to Canada, and Chinese commercial radio stations sprung up. Ma Chiu Chee stopped her amateur Cantonese program broadcasts under fierce competition. Ma Zhaoci died of illness in 1984 at the age of 49.
