Wang Aiming 王愛明

Wang Aiming 王愛明was already a Hong Kong film child star in the mid-1950s. She won the Golden Harvest Award at the age of 6. Wang Aiming and others held a sworn ceremony and became Jinlan sisters, she ranks sixth (sixth sister). In 1955, Wang Aiming participated in the Mandarin business card "Back Door" (1955) directed by Li Hanxiang and starring Wang Yin and Hu Die. Wang Aiming played the role of child star Arlene in the film, Wang Aiming is therefore known as a "genius child star" and one of the best child stars in Asia. Wang Aiming made many Cantonese feature films in the 1950s and 1960s, including martial arts and fashion. Wang Aiming joined TVB after the decline of Cantonese films, and once formed the song and dance group "Four Golden Flowers" in the evening variety show "Happy Tonight" with Wang Mingquan, Lydia Shum, and Zhang Delan (Zhang Yuanyuan). She once sang the theme song of "Mobile Suit Gundam", hosted the children's program "Jump the Plane" and the women's program "Women's New Attitude". On June 8, 1972, TVB broadcast the TV series "True Love in Adversity", and Wang Aiming participated in the performance. She can be regarded as an early TVB female artist who lived in music, film and television. In terms of songs, apart from the works of "Four Golden Flowers", the more popular works can be counted as "Obviously Yes". This work is also an early example of using the singer's name in the lyrics. In the era of Cantonese feature films, she made great achievements in the film field, especially her performance in the movie "Back Door" was very moving and outstanding. After joining TVB as an adult, she mostly played supporting roles, far less prominent than when she was a child star. Nowadays, she is more well-known as Cheng Ying, the female apprentice of Huang Yaoshi in the 83 version of "The Legend of Condor Heroes", and in the TV series "Tian Long Ba Bu". Played "Tianshan Child Elder" (1982 Liang Jiaren version). Wang Aiming has retired from acting in recent years and is now a Buddhist and runs a restaurant called Pu Guang Zhai.
