Wang Sha (王沙)

Wang Sha (王沙 1924-1998) was born in Singapore and is a famous comedian. His partner with the chunky Ye Feng (1932~1995) was very popular at the time. In 1974, Ye Feng and Wang Sha were hired by Shaw Brothers to film in Hong Kong. The two co-starred in "A Niu Entering the City" (1974) was very popular and won an award at the 20th Asian Film Festival. Afterwards, the two collaborated The film was followed by "A Niu Gets Out of Prison" (1975), "A Niu's Prosperity" (1976) and other comedies. Ye Feng and Wang Sha also acted in the Teochew opera film "Que Lang Chau". Wang Sha's most well-known performance is the "A Niu" series directed by Rome. He has collaborated the most with three directors, Roma, Wang Feng and Li Hanxiang.
