Bao Qijing鮑起靜 was born in Hong Kong on July 20, 1949. Her father is a famous actor and director. Bao Qijing’s family was very poor when she was a child. Although her father Bao Fang was already an actor in the Mainland, her father, who is a leftist, was unwilling to make movies in Hong Kong casually, so the family’s life was relatively difficult when she was a child. It was not until her father joined the leftist Great Wall Film Company that their family’s life gradually improved. In 1956, Bao Qijing was admitted to the artist training class of the Great Wall Film Company. In 1977, participated in the Hong Kong literary film "Qu Yuan" directed by his father Bao Fang. In 1980, participated in the martial arts movie "The White-haired Witch" cast by Great Wall Company, playing the role of Lian Nishang. In the same year, Bao Qijing transferred to Asia Television and successively starred in TV series such as "The Grace of the Earth", "Qin Shihuang", "Silver Fox", and "The Story of Fat Cat".
