Chan Lo Mei陈露薇

Chen Luwei (Chan Lo Mei陈露薇), a Hong Kong film actress. She is also a Cantonese opera singer who is good at singing female tunes. Her film debut was the 1953 film "The Story of Seizing Beauty in the Mountain", in which she acted as the second heroine, playing the role of Lin Mingzhu; later, she starred in many films such as "Huang Feihong Sweeping Xiaobeijiang" and "Zhu Bajie's Marriage". In 1964, Chen Luwei took the role of Zhengyindan and participated in the "New Phoenix Theater Troupe" hosted by Mr. Pang Ciwen. Yuen Siu-fai (Xiaosheng) and others celebrated Tin Hau's birthday at the A-Ma Temple in Macau. On November 5, 1966, she and Bai Yutang began to carry the banner for the "Xinghua Cantonese Opera Troupe" and performed in Baisha Village, Yuen Long, New Territories for a week. In 1954, the Hong Kong film "Entertainment and Peace" directed by Long Tu was produced by Jieli Matheson in 1954. Directed by Long Tu, the film stars Xin Ma Shizeng as Zhang Mingjie, Deng Biyun as Ruan Suxian, Shi Yanzi as Li Zhiling, Chen Luwei as Chen Lufen, Ouyang Jian as Zhang Ershu, and Yuan Buyun as Chen Ziqiang. Movie plot: The manager Zhang Mingjie is dull by nature, and the old-fashioned secretary Ruan Suxian is interested in Mingjie, but Mingjie doesn't understand tenderness. Instead, he pursues the female actress Chen Lufen, but Lufen falls in love with the screenwriter Li Zhiling. Zhi Ling was originally an old classmate of Ming Jie and Su Xian, so he teamed up with Lu Fen to match them up, allowing the two to let go of their restraint and step into love. Film critics generally believe that the film is not Longtu's original work, with a lot of funny plots, but it captures the essence of Lingnan artists' impromptu ghost performances.
