Hu Yanni (胡燕妮）

Hu Yanni (胡燕妮Jenny Hu) was born in Kaiping, Guangdong on November 17, 1947 in Guangzhou, Guangdong. She is a Chinese-German mixed-race actress and a Hong Kong film actress, known as "Fire Girl". When she was one and a half years old, she went to Taiwan with her parents. she entered primary school in Taipei City Nushi Attached Elementary School. After her father died, she lived in Germany with her mother for 4 years. Qin Jian, the director of Hong Kong Guangyi Production Company, signed a five-year contract with Hu Yanni, who is still in Germany, after seeing her photos. In 1965, Hu Yanni arrived in Hong Kong. At this time, Qin Jian had joined the Shaw Company, and Hu Yanni also joined the Shaw Company. The famous work is "When Will You Come Again" directed by Qin Jian and performed with movie stars Chen Hou and Zhang Chong. Hu Yanni became popular with her tall nose, big eyes and fair complexion. Since then, she has become popular all the way, and because of the upsurge of Kung Fu movies in the 1970s, Hu Yanni's appearance was not suitable for ancient costumes, so she gradually faded out of the film industry. In 1969, she married actor Con-way and had two sons after marriage. After getting married, Con-way became a director and has directed four films, two of which are "Bewitched" and "3721" starring Hu Yanni. In 1982, "Killer Rose" made her farewell to the film industry. Then in 2004, she came back to perform "Dragon and Phoenix Fight" with Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng, and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards. In 1983, her family moved to the suburbs of Los Angeles, USA. When Con-way in the United States, he was engaged in the insurance industry. Hu Yanni once opened a jewelry store and engaged in makeup and beauty. The two sons, Yin Ziyang and Yin Ziwei, both worked as child stars. Yin Ziyang is now working as a lawyer in Los Angeles; Yin Ziwei is working in Hong Kong and has also released a record in Taiwan. In May 2013, Con-way died of a stroke in the United States at the age of 73.
