Kam Ying-Lin 金影怜

Kam Ying-Lin 金影怜(August 18, 1940 - ), the original name should be Jin Yinglian. Because it is often written by mistake, many people write it as Jin Yinglian. Born in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, the Republic of China, she immigrated to Nanyang with her parents when she was a child. Kam Ying-Lin came to Hong Kong by chance in 1961 and entered the Cantonese opera and film work in Hong Kong in a dramatic way. She was an active Cantonese opera singer in the early 1960s Help Hua Dan and film actress. From her screen debut "Snake Flying Tiger Rescue the Palace" (1961) to her final film "Modern Ji Gong" (1965), she has appeared in more than 70 films. Kam Ying-Lin and Hong Kong film practitioners Li Xiangqin, Ren Binger, Liang Suqin, Li Kunlian, Zhu Rihong, Xu Qingqing, Ying Lili and Tan Qianhong became sisters of Jin Lan. They called themselves "Nine Big Sisters" and Kam Ying-Lin was the youngest among them. Hold a monthly banquet and play mahjong at the "Sun Lok Restaurant" in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. In 1964, "Nine Big Sisters" established "Scented City Film Company" to shoot the only partial color Cantonese film: "Spiced City Nine Phoenixes". Kam Ying-Lin gave birth to a baby boy on April 6, 1965.
