Leo Tsang Kin Ming 曾健明

Leo Tsang Kin Ming (曾健明, October 23, 1956 -), a Hong Kong actor, is currently a basic artist contract artist for Hong Kong TVB. Leo Tsang Kin Ming lived in Kennedy Town, West District, Hong Kong Island in his early years. His father was a peddler, and Leo Tsang Kin Ming's academic performance was average. At the age of seven to eight, he helped sell vegetables at his grandmother's street food stall and worked as a bag seller in a tea house in the estate. Based on his interest in drama, Leo Tsang Kin Ming participated in the drama performance of Fangjian Drama Club. Later, in order to learn stage acting skills, in 1977 Li TV recruited the third artist training class and went to enroll. The classmates in the same class include Liu Sufang, producer Lin Guohua and others. After graduating in 1978, he became a full-time TV artiste of Lai. In the early years, he was assigned to work in the dubbing group, taking care of the front of the screen and dubbing the translation script as a part-time job. Before he switched to TVB in 1988, apart from acting as an actor, Leo Tsang Kin Ming was also engaged in the insurance industry and selling greeting card printing machines. At the same time, he was invited by the Education Department to participate in the filming of educational television, mainly shooting short dramas for General Studies. The roles played are mainly Cheng Zhanquan's father, relatives and doctors. He has also filmed other works produced by Radio Television Hong Kong, such as "Sex is Good", "Warm Collection", "Police Call", "Bring to Justice" and so on. In 1988, with a learning attitude, he participated in the only "Jade Theater Actor Recruitment" event hosted by TVB. In the end, no training is required and he becomes a contract actor directly. He has been studying and taking different acting classes. He will also learn music theory and singing skills from well-known singers such as Qin Yan. Afterwards, he left TVB for a while, and returned to TVB in 1996 as an artist under its banner. In 1996, in view of his dedication to educational television for more than ten years, he was awarded the "Enthusiasm for Education Award" by Yu Lai Ching-ping, former Director of Education, at the 25th anniversary exhibition of educational television. He was one of the few non-teachers who received this honor. In 2016, he was awarded the "Alternative Best Show King - Liar King" in the variety show "Sunday Best Show King". Three years later, in July 2019, he was awarded the "Humanitarian Award" by the Malaysian organization "The Giving Bank Organization". Now, besides participating in TV dramas, he also performs for charity events. Leo Tsang Kin Ming married in 1988. After marriage, he and his wife Peng's have a son.
