Lo Yu-Kei 卢雨岐
Lo Yu-Kei 卢雨岐(February 24, 1917 - December 24, 1981), Hong Kong film director and screenwriter. In the 1960s, Hong Kong film directors such as Huang Dai, Mo Kangshi, Long Tu, Hu Peng, Feng Zhigang, Li Tie, Wu Hui, Huang Hesheng, Lo Yu-Kei and Zhu Ji were collectively called the top ten directors, and Lo Yu-Kei ranked ninth. From the 1950s to the 1960s, Lo Yu-Kei directed nearly 37 films; including "Wandering Girl" (1954), "Snow Girl and Seven Friends" (1955), Xiang Luozhong (1957), "Sister's Lover" (1967), " Blood in the Iron Hand (1967), Marrying a Family (1969), etc.; screenwriter of nearly 150 film works, including: "Beauty of Beauty" (1951), "Blessed to the Heart" (1951), "The Wrong Lover" ( 1951) and so on; only four of the movies he participated in are known, namely "Ghosts and Enmity" (1965), Marrying a Family (1969), Ten Strange Cases (1975), and Dragon Jue (1979). In 1974, under the introduction of Wu Hui, he joined Li's TV as a screenwriter, and later became a licorice actor to participate in TV dramas. On December 24, 1981, Lo Yu-Kei died of illness in Hong Kong Grantham Hospital. At the age of 64.
