Ruan Zhaohui( 阮兆輝）

Ruan Zhaohui( 阮兆輝, November 1, 1945 -), native of Xinhui, Guangdong, was born in Foshan, Guangdong. He is a famous Hong Kong Cantonese opera actor and has the reputation of "child prodigy" and "universal master". Ruan Zhaohui followed his father and brother to settle in Hong Kong when he was 3 or 4 years old. He started acting at the age of 7. He has co-starred in Mandarin films with Li Lihua, Ge Lan, Lin Cui, Li Mei, Wang Yin, Wang Yuanlong and others. His first teacher was Ding Xiangyao, who had worshiped Mai Bingrong, Liu Zhaorong, and Huang Tao as his teachers. He studied Cantonese rap Nanyin (stage Nanyin), and practiced northern martial arts with Yuan Xiaotian. Ruan Zhaohui has participated in "Dalongfeng", "Xinma", "Biyuntian", "Chunhui", "Good Zhaonian", "Yan Shenghui", "Fengqiuhuang Troupe", "Ming Zhisheng Troupe", "Celebration Fengming", "Double Happiness", "Feng Shenghui", "Song Xinsheng" and "Young Fengming" and other troupes. Ruan Zhaohui founded the Hong Kong Experimental Cantonese Opera Troupe in 1971 to promote the development of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong. In 1991, he won the Singer Award of the "Artist of the Year Award". In May 2003, he was awarded the "Artistic Achievement Award". Ruan Zhaohui is one of the few artists who can perform across industries. Ruan Zhaohui's wife, Deng Gongbi, used to be a columnist, DJ and famous model. She was also Zeng Jiang's second wife. The two had been married for 10 years and had a daughter Zeng Muxue. Unfortunately, they finally divorced. After Ruan Zhaohui and Yin Feiyan broke up, they met Deng Gongbi, who also experienced a failed marriage, and they understood each other, so they remarried not long after dating.
