Shi Si施思 was born on October 24, 1953. Her original name was Lei Qiushi. She was originally from Hunan and was born in Taiwan. Started to learn dance at the age of 6. She has learned folk dance and ballet from various countries, and has won the championship of children's individual group and youth individual group in Taiwan folk dance competitions many times.Shi Si joined the Shaw Brothers Film Company on July 4, 1969, and first appeared on the screen as a heroine, and was unanimously welcomed by the audience; because of learning various styles of dance since childhood, Shi Si made martial arts films, with natural movements and figure Elegant and smooth, full of chivalrous posture, she was a first-line actress during the Shaw Brothers period. Most of her works are mainly martial arts films; in many works, she showed her graceful and flexible skills and established her status as the first heroine of martial arts. After 1979, the contract with Shaw Brothers expired, and Shi Si chose to make films freely without any binding contract. In 1980, after filming "Lian Cheng Jue", she left Hong Kong and returned to Taiwan to continue filming. Shi Si began to film unit dramas of Taiwan TV stations. The first TV series was "Love Journey", and her small-screen drama career began. . In 1985, Ms. Zhou You, a well-known TV drama producer in Taiwan, paid a lot of money to hire Shi Si and Er Dongsheng as partners, a combination of movie stars, handsome men and beautiful women, to star in the martial arts drama "Flying Swallows Startled the Dragon" at 8 o'clock on Sunday. At that time, it caused a wave of ratings, especially the appearance of a woman disguised as a man. Afterwards, she starred in "Enchanted Love" and "Legend of Pearls", etc., which were all eight o'clock serials of Taiwan China Television Company, and Shi Si performed very well. In 1988, after filming two unit dramas commemorating Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo, she married Shen Changsheng. Less than two years after marriage, due to personality differences, Shi Si returned to Hong Kong in December 1989 and the two separated. Shortly thereafter, the Hongyuan Group run by Shen broke out in the case of illegally absorbing money. Shi Si, who was still Shen's wife at the time, was inevitably involved, and was suspected of taking Shen's job as a substitute. However, when Shen Changsheng was interrogated, he had stated to the prosecutor that Shi Si did not have any Hongyuan assets under her name. In 1992, Shi Si's petition for divorce was approved, and she parted ways with Shen Dong in the Hongyuan case. The last TV series before Shi Sixi's filming was "In Every Minute", and the last movie was "Sister Lin Tou" . As early as 1978, Shi Si was a disciple of Venerable Master Chengyi of Huayan Lotus Society in Taipei. For many years, Shi Si has traveled between Taiwan and Hong Kong. Since 1992, she has been to the mainland to pay respects to Buddha, and she is often invited to give lectures on Buddhism as a lay Buddhist. On October 5, 2013, Shi Si was invited to give a lecture on Buddhism at Huiji Temple, Putuo Mountain, Nanhai, Taipei City. Today, she is no longer a person in the film and television industry, but a devout Buddhist. For her who is filial to her mother, practicing and promoting Buddhism and accompanying her mother to spend her old age are the core of her life
