Ye Feng (野峰)

Ye Feng (野峰1932 - 1995) Singaporean, in the early 1970s, partnered with Wang Sha to perform local comedy dramas. The two were tall, short, fat and thin. Employed by Shaw Brothers in 1974, Ye Feng and Wang Sha came to Hong Kong to make a film. The two co-starred in "A Niu Entering the City" (1974) was very popular and won an award at the 20th Asian Film Festival. The two later collaborated on the sequels "A Niu Gets Out of Prison" (1975), "A Niu's Prosperity" (1976) and other comedies. Ye Feng and Wang Sha also acted in the Teochew opera film "Que Lang Chau". After the contract expired in 1977, Ye Feng made a freelance film, starring in "Jigong Three Fighters Lu Dongbin" and the sequel "Oolong Jigong", and sang the theme song of the film.Ye Feng joined TVB in 1978, performed in variety shows such as "Happy Tonight", and also appeared in TV series. Ye Feng married Huang Yuen Hua in 1958. Back then, the two performed on the same stage, got along day and night, and fell in love with each other for a long time. They decided to enter into a marriage at the Marriage Registration Bureau. After marriage, they gave birth to a boy. Unexpectedly, this pair whom were envied in the art world back then, had a turbulent relationship five years after their marriage, and they went to the Bing court to apply for divorce. Ye Feng died of a heart attack in 1995 at the age of 63. When Ye Feng passed away, Huang Wanhua showed up at the mortuary and funeral sympathetically, helping with the funeral and seeing her ex-husband for the last time.
