Su Xingxuan (苏杏璇)

Su Xingxuan (苏杏璇So Hang Shuen) was born on October 10, 1951. She is a Hong Kong female licorice actress. She was a contract artist in TVB and the goddaughter of the late actor Huang Manli. She is known as "Sister Xuan" and her husband Xu Chengbiao. Su Xingxuan lived in Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong Island when she was a child. She attended Shau Kei Wan Government Primary School and Shau Kei Wan Tsung Tsin School, and her academic performance was good. When she was studying, under the support of Xie Yuemei, she joined the drama troupe of Shau Kei Wan Youth Association. In 1971, she joined the first training class of the TVB artist training class. After graduation, she joined TVB as a matter of course and participated in the performance of many TV series. She is known for her superb acting skills. Although she is not a beautiful woman, she has no determination to stop acting. As long as the role is fulfilled, Su Xingxuan never minds how many roles she plays, nor who's mother she plays. Su Xingxuan is not born with a mature appearance. According to her, she was hit by a tram when she was 18 years old, and she may have suffered some internal injuries, so she looked much older afterwards; therefore, she has never played the heroine in TV or movies. Su Xingxuan has played the role of the protagonist's mother since she entered the industry at the age of 20, and she has acted for nearly 40 years. The most prominent one is "Brother Xin Zha" (playing the mother of Tony Leung Chiu Wai, who is only 11 years younger than herself); In "Qiu Jin", Su Xingxuan played the role of Wang Mingquan's mother. In fact, Wang Mingquan is 5 years older than her. Su Xingxuan died from complications caused by a stroke at the age of 61.
