Wu Pang 胡鹏(December 21, 1909-March 26, 2000), a native of Shunde County, Guangdong Province, was born in Shanghai. In 1931, Wu Pang held an administrative position in the cinema. Wu Pang came to Hong Kong in 1936 and worked in a national film studio. In his early years, he mainly made literary films. His first directorial work was "Send Cold Clothes at Night" (1938). Among the 77 Huang Feihong movies starring Guan Dexing, Wu Pang has directed as many as 59 of them. The 20 years since Wu Pang and Guan Dexing co-produced Huang Feihong's film are also the 20 years since Hong Kong kung fu films grew from nothing to extreme prosperity. Wu Pang has created an eternal classic film in Hong Kong, which is likely to become a permanent record that no one can break. Wu Pang himself participated in 4 films: "Spring in the Silver Sea" (1951) ... (guest star), "The Next Generation" (1955) as Bao Jianwei, "Ghosts and Ghosts" (1965) and "Married Family" Getting Married" (1969).
