Xi Xiulan奚秀兰

Xi Xiulan奚秀兰 was born in Quanjiao County, Anhui Province in 1950. she have loved singing and dancing since she was a child. When she was in the fourth grade of primary school, she went to Hong Kong to reunite with her parents. In 1966, she was admitted to the TV music art training class first founded by Lai's TV Station. She graduated in 1967 and then participated in the Hong Kong Amateur Singer Singing Competition organized by "Sing Tao Daily" and won the championship in the Mandarin category with the song "Green Island Serenade". Later, she worked as a singer and artist in Li's TV Station and Wireless TV Station for more than ten years. After getting married in 1979, she announced her retirement from the entertainment industry, stopped appearing on television, and met the audience with her singing. However, more recordings were made since then, and they became more popular. The song "My Motherland" she sang won the "Platinum Record Award" in Hong Kong in 1982; in the same year, the song "Girls from Alishan" she sang was ranked first in Taiwan; she has won five "Platinum Record Awards" in total. Award" and three "Golden Disc Awards". In 1984, at the invitation of CCTV, she participated in the Spring Festival Gala and successfully sang "Why Are the Flowers So Red", "The Goddess Scattered Flowers", and Xi Xiulan in the 1984 Spring Festival Gala. On December 19, 1999, Xi Xiulan participated in the Macau Handover Day performance. During the Spring Festival of 2000, after performing at the China Central Television's "Same Song" Spring Festival Gala, she performed with "The Same Song" many times across the country. During the 2007 Spring Festival, she participated in the "Spring Festival Gala" organized by Dragon TV and sang "Beautiful Hong Kong". On July 21, 2007, the "Emotional Shanghai"-2007 Concert was held on the Shanghai Grand Stage. This was the first solo concert held in Shanghai to commemorate the 40th anniversary of entering the music scene, the 80th anniversary of the birth of Chinese pop songs in Shanghai, and The 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. Xi Xiulan is a devout Christian, dedicated to recording poems to share her faith, and enthusiastically serving the community. Xi Xiulan often sings voluntarily for different churches, elderly dormitories, societies, schools and hospitals in Hong Kong. From 1997 to 1999, she toured around the world performing charity performances, singing for local Chinese churches and institutions. Entering the 21st century, her footprints have spread all over North America, and she has visited various parts of the United States and Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, Canada, etc. to raise funds for various organizations and bear witness to her faith in local Chinese churches.
