You Guangzhao尤光照 was born on March 30, 1908 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He is good at comedy roles. In 1925, he starred in the debut film "Red Girl" at Langhua Film Company. In 1930, he entered Tianyi Company and played small roles in films such as "Yang Naiwu" (three episodes) and "Qianlong's Tour of Jiangnan" (sixth episode). In 1934, he joined the Mingxing Company and performed in films such as "Peach and Plum" and "A Living Dragon". Since 1939, he has starred in the "Li Amao" series of films at Guohua Company, such as "Amao Li and Miss Tang" and "Amao Li and Dongfang Shuo". Although the plots are absurd, they are relatively popular. At the end of the 1930s, together with Qin Wei, Tian Zhendong, Tao You, Qiao Qi, etc., he also contacted Lian Shanhao and Zhou Xinhe in the hardware industry to form the "Zhengfeng Drama Society". After 1948, he went to Hong Kong and worked in "Taishan" and "Yongfeng Drama Club". He has shot movies in film companies such as China, Shaw Brothers, Xinhua, and D&M, and his acting skills are quite outstanding. You Guangguang died in the early morning of August 16, 1967 (Wednesday) due to a recurrence of heart disease. He died on the way to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kowloon at the age of 59. He left behind his wife and daughter.
