Athena Chu Yan was born in Hong Kong on October 25, 1971. She is a Hong Kong actress. Shortly after her debut, she became famous for her role as Huang Rong in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". Chu Yan graduated from the Drama Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1992, majoring in performance, and received a diploma in performing arts.
