Bai Yin白茵
Bai Yin, formerly known as Chen Huixian, female, originally from Xinhui, Guangdong, was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1942. She is a famous Hong Kong film actress and senior TV artist. Since her parents died early, Bai Yin has lived a simple life since she was a child and has the ability to take care of her own life. By chance, Lu Yan, a famous Cantonese film actor and director of Xinlian Pictures, discovered that Bai Yin was suitable for acting and introduced her to the film industry. In 1959, she joined Xinlian Pictures as an actress. Not only did she love literature, she also studied traditional Chinese painting under the tutelage of painter Zheng Jiazhen. Her paintings are remarkable. Influenced by poetry, calligraphy and painting, the ancient beauties portrayed on the screen mostly have elegant feelings and exude the fragrance of books. Joined Lai TV in the 1970s; joined TVB in 1979, and has performed in TV series such as "Chasing the Clans", "Strange Woman", "Famous Swordsman", "It's Not Enemies", and "Plum Blossom Girl". Bai Yin has a charming and resonant voice, and is good at playing the roles of sarcastic women and seductive women, such as the second mother in "Love" and Wei Chunhua in "The Deer and the Cauldron". In her later years, she played more loving mother roles. Her husband is Huang Wenwei, a former professional football player and South China Football Youth Army coach.
