Singer Ye Feng

Ye Feng (叶枫) was born on October 19, 1937, formerly known as Wang Jiuling, a native of Hankou, Hubei Province. She studied Peking Opera since elementary school, and then went to Taiwan with her family to study. In 1954, Ye Feng became a contract actress of Yonghua Company. Soon, she transferred to Dianmao Film Company and played the second young lady Xiron in "Four Thousand Golds". In 1957, the film won the Best Film Award at the 5th Asian Film Festival, and Ye Feng became popular in the film circle since then. Six films were made in 1959. In "The Stars, Moons, and Sun", she plays an overseas Chinese girl with a bold personality and outstanding personality. The film not only won the Golden Horse Award for Best Feature Film, but also one of the top ten best-selling films in Hong Kong that year. Ye Feng is also one of the top ten stars selected by the Hong Kong Overseas Chinese Evening News. Ye Feng's marriage was a bit chaotic. In 1958, Ye Feng's exotic relationship came to an end due to emotional breakdown. She temporarily sent her two children to friends for support, while she continued to work hard in the film industry. At the beginning of 1960, she went to Taiwan to film and fell in love with Taiwan national basketball player Li Nanhui; Ye Feng, who returned to Hong Kong in 1964, married Zhang Yang. After marriage, Ye Feng transferred to "Shaw Brothers". In 1965, Ye Feng met Ling Yun, who had just arrived in Hong Kong from Taiwan and was 4 years younger than her. Ye Feng finally divorced Zhang Yang and remarried Ling Yun. Ye Feng's remarriage had a negative impact on her career. Due to the boycott of fans, the box office of Ye Feng's movies in the future was not satisfactory. In 1969, Ye Feng withdrew from the film circle after performing "Spring Silkworm". In 1975, she made a cameo appearance in the film "Thirteen Mismatches" (1975). Her marriage with Ling Yun lasted 18 years, and finally ended in divorce.
