黎坤蓮 Lai Kunlian

Together with Li Xiangqin, Ren Bing'er, Liang Suqin, Ying Lili, Jin Yinglian, Xu Qingqing, Zhu Rihong and Tan Qianhong, they became Jinlan sisters, collectively known as the "Nine Big Sisters". Li Kunlian is the royal voice of Yu Suqiu. Since Yu Suqiu does not understand Cantonese, all her Cantonese films are dubbed live by Lai Kunlian. Lai Kunlian married to Huang Tiexiong in 1962. Huang Tiexiong has a good background. He is the "cousin" in the mouth of the "Nine Sisters" and the brother of Huang Tao, a famous folk performer. At the age of eleven, he followed his brother to work in the theater troupe and has been working in the theater for more than 20 years in Huaguang . Later he became an entertainment reporter and was a veteran of the famous Cantonese opera newspaper "Entertainment Voice". He served as a photojournalist for many entertainment newspapers and a photographer for Cantonese opera troupes and movie stills. The life photos of the "Nine Sisters", the wedding photos of the sisters, and the photos of "Xianfengming" were all taken by him. It was not until 1982, after Huang Tiexiong/Lai Kunlian and their family immigrated to Vancouver, that Huang Tiexiong officially retired.
