She formed a sworn alliance with the nine second-bang Hua Dan sisters, Li Xiangqin, Ren Bing'er, Liang Suqin, Li Kunlian, Jin Yinglian, Xu Qingqing, Zhu Rihong and Tan Qianhong, and became the Jinlan sisters, calling themselves the "Nine Big Sisters".
