殷巧兒 Yan Hau-yee

Her husband was the late first generation of Hong Kong TV. Actor Luo Guowei. Yan Hau-yee graduated from St. Francis of Canossian College from Secondary School, graduated from the English Department of United College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1969, and obtained a Diploma in Education from the School of Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1972. Yan Hau-yee was also a popular actress in the early television circles. In addition to being the vice-principal of Cai Daopei Chinese and English College, she was also the director of the drama troupe, and won the best actress award in the college drama. She has performed in "The Cherry Orchard", "The Grudge of the Late Ming Dynasty" ”, “Mean Alley”, “Wet Paint” and other plays. In mid-1976, she quit the television industry and joined Radio Television Hong Kong as a director and presenter. She edited and directed programs such as "Half a Day's Leisure" and "Clang Episodes". She later worked as Director of Educational Television of Radio Television Hong Kong. She resigned in 1995 and became the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. Represented Assistant (Education) until 1999, and then focused on public service and diocesan affairs, and also helped promote educational reform. Yan Hau-yee is currently the Chairman of the Senate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Family Planning Guidance Association, and Honorary Secretary of the Moral Education Concern Group of the Community Resource Center. According to Yan Hau-yee's interview with a RTHK program, she and Luo Guowei met because of acting in dramas, but they rarely acted opposite each other. Her acquaintance with him was all thanks to the June 7th riots. At that time, Yan Hau-yee was still studying in college, and it was quite dangerous to go to and from school.
