唐若青（Tang Ruoqing ）

唐若青（Tang Ruoqing 1918年-1983年），出生于湖南省湘乡市，毕业于中国旅行剧团，父亲是戏剧家唐槐秋。 1934年，唐若青在其父戏剧家唐槐秋组建的中国旅行剧团开始舞台生涯，扮演《梅萝香》剧中梅萝香角色，引起上海观众的注意。从此时开始，直至抗日战争前夕，连续在近30部中外名剧中担任主要角色，如《茶花女》中的玛格丽特、《复活》中的卡秋莎、《雷雨》中的鲁妈、《日出》中的陈白露等。 抗日战争开始，她随中国旅行剧团辗转武汉、香港等地，从事救亡戏剧活动。后来又随剧团回上海，主演《葛嫩娘》、《洪宣娇》、《李香君》等话剧，宣扬爱国主义思想，激发了"孤岛"时期上海观众的爱国热情。随着“中旅”在国民党当局的文化 专制主义的压制和经济崩溃的波及下宣告解散，唐若青也就离开了话剧界。 1948年唐若青应香港永华电影公司邀请在《清宫秘史》中扮演慈禧，后客居香港，在一些商业电影和电视剧中扮演角色。1960年在李翰祥名作《倩女幽魂》里的姥姥以及《江山美人》里的太后。她曾参演 《 曼波女郎》、《 江山美人》等电影 。以后就定居香港，靠给电视台拍粤语片为生，一生没有亲儿女，晚境凄凉。在她身患癌症时，还为生计所迫，抱病演出，数次晕倒在录像室内。1983年5月19日，她的最后一部 电视片《誓不回头》未及拍完，便寂寞地离开人世，终年66岁。 Tang Ruoqing唐若青 (1918-1983) was born in Xiangxiang City, Hunan Province. She graduated from the China Travel Theater. Her father was the dramatist Tang Huaiqiu. In 1934, Tang Ruoqing began her stage career in the China Travel Theater Company established by her father, the dramatist Tang Huaiqiu. She played the role of Mei Luoxiang in the play "Plum Blossom", which attracted the attention of the Shanghai audience. From this time until the eve of the Anti-Japanese War, she continuously played major roles in nearly 30 famous Chinese and foreign dramas, such as Margaret in "La Traviata", Katyusha in "Resurrection", and Ma Lu in "Thunderstorm" , Chen Bailu in "Sunrise", etc. When the Anti-Japanese War began, she traveled to Wuhan, Hong Kong and other places with the China Traveling Troupe, engaging in national salvation drama activities. Later, she returned to Shanghai with the theater troupe and starred in dramas such as "Ge Nanniang", "Hong Xuanjiao" and "Li Xiangjun". She promoted patriotism and inspired the patriotic enthusiasm of Shanghai audiences during the "Isolated Island" period. As "China Travel Service" was disbanded due to the suppression of cultural authoritarianism by the Kuomintang authorities and the impact of the economic collapse, Tang Ruoqing also left the drama industry. In 1948, Tang Ruoqing was invited by Hong Kong Yonghua Film Company to play Cixi in "The Secret History of the Qing Palace". Later, she lived in Hong Kong and played roles in some commercial films and TV series. In 1960, the grandmother in Li Hanxiang's masterpiece "A Chinese Ghost Story" and the queen mother in "The Beauty of the Country". She has participated in movies such as "Mambo Girl" and "The Beauty of the Country". After that, she settled in Hong Kong and made a living by making Cantonese films for TV stations. She had no biological children in her life, and her later life was miserable. When she was suffering from cancer, she was still forced to make a living, fell ill to perform, and fainted in the video room several times.
