黄敏仪 Wong Man Yee

She was a Hong Kong TVB actress in the 1980s. Her ancestral home is Cheung Chau Village, Zhongshan. She is currently a member of the Zhongshan CPPCC. Wong Man Yee graduated from TVB's eighth artist training class (1979). Her classmates in the same class included Tang Zhenye, Ai Wei, Liao Qizhi, Chen Min'er, Huang Zaoshi, Chen Anying, Jing Daiyin, Zhou Xiulan, Li Chengchang, Liang Jiehua, Fu Yulan, etc. After graduation, she participated in many TVB dramas, mostly supporting roles. The only leading role was the TVB Gulong drama "Famous Swordsman" with Xia Yu and Pan Yingzi in 1979. Wong Man Yee played the heroine Zhu Leier in it. She also worked in Shao She plays the heroine Cheng Lingsu in the movie "Flying Fox" and Li Yuanzhi plays an important role in "Book and Sword". She is the queen of the TVB martial arts drama, Abi in the 1982 version of "Dragon", and the 1986 version of "The Legend of the Dragon". Ding Minjun in "Eternal Dragon Sword", she can portray characters with completely different personalities just right, which is impressive. Wong Man Yee quit the entertainment industry in the early 1990s. Wong Man Yee has a special liking for Cantonese drama and became a mentor to the famous actress Phoenix Girl. And her father-in-law is the first generation Huang Feihong Guan Dexing. Her career outside the entertainment industry is more successful, and she has reached a very senior management level. In the 1990s, she also held a charity concert in Zhongshan to raise funds for the construction of a new traditional Chinese medicine hospital. Wong Man Yee has now retired from the entertainment industry and is currently doing business in Hong Kong with her husband.
