Ng Dan Fung (吳丹鳳）

Ng Dan Fung (吳丹鳳, born in 1927), native of Shunde County, Guangdong Province, was the champion of the second Miss Hong Kong in 1947. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 103 pounds. She was her brother's assistant, and hope to be admitted to an art college, and especially like singing. On July 27, 1947, at the "Victoria Barracks" swimming beauty pageant, 18 beauties signed up at first, but only 4 of them appeared on the spot, including Ng Dan Fung, who was 20 years old at the time. Ng Dan Fung won the championship with 359 points and won the first place. Be the second "Miss Hong Kong" title in 1947; "China-British Film Company" signed a contract with her for HK$1,500 at the celebration of the night at the Yingjing Restaurant, inviting her to participate in the movie "A Rich Family". She married Lun Tianle, chairman of the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Industry Association. In addition to running the watch industry, her husband also got involved in the film industry and sports circles. The first film Ng Dan Fung participated in was "A Rich Family" as the heroine playing Hu Feng. Since then, she has played supporting roles in many films starring Hong Kong stars of the year. These include Wu Chufan's "Eight Great Immortals", Liang Xingbo's "Many Wives and Husbands", Fang Yanfen's "The Sunshine Always Shines on the Peony River", and Yam Kim Fai's "Peach Red Willows and Green Swallows Playing in Spring" and "The Young Master". Ng Dan Fung played the leading role in the film "A Good Match", which she and Zhang Ying starred in in 1954. The cooperation with Zhang Ying was a relatively successful event in Ng Dan Fung's entire film career. After that, the two have collaborated many times.
