Singer Xu Xiaofeng (Paula Tsui Siu Fung) was born on January 1, 1949. Her real name is Xu Yunshu, a Hong Kong female singer. Born in Wuchang, Hubei Province, she won the "Hong Kong Orioles Singing Competition" championship in 1965 and launched her singing career. She dominated the music world with her deep magnetic voice. From 1972 to 1980, she was selected for the Golden Camel Award for the Top Ten Singers of the Overseas Chinese Evening News eight times. In 1969, Xu Xiaofeng received the support of the famous conductor Wen Jiubo, recorded her first official album, and officially joined the music scene. At that time, she went to Nanguo Record Factory in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to record. Xu Xiaofeng spent two days and recorded 12 songs in mono track, which were divided into three small discs, "Wall", "Autumn Night" and "Fire of Love" (at that time Occidental's recording studios have commonly used multi-track recording and provided musical scores). Tsui Siu-feng's days of singing in nightclubs were very hard. She once said that before her first singing performance, she practiced five hundred songs before she dared to perform. She had to sing from 8 o'clock to 4 o'clock in the morning every night, along the Nathan Road in Hong Kong. Singing from Mong Kok to Tsim Sha Tsui, the highest record was from 2pm to 4am the next morning. She ran 13 shows in one day. Over time, she developed a perfect singing voice. Tsui Siu-feng is well-known in the music world for her deep magnetic voice and simple style. In the past 20 years, she has published more than 50 albums, many of which have achieved platinum sales. She has achieved outstanding results and is also an important figure in the history of concerts. In 1990, she was awarded the Golden Needle Award by Radio Television Hong Kong for her outstanding achievements, becoming the first female singer to receive this award. Tsui Siu-fung's private life has always been low-key. Except for the disclosure that her second brother, Tsui Yun-hsiung, was a TVB artiste, little is revealed about her love life. However, in the mid-1990s, there were media reports that Tsui Siu-fung became a well-known political figure and legislator in Hong Kong in 1974 and later. They met Cheng Jinghan, a member of the Congress, after co-organizing a concert and registered their marriage in Canada. However, the marriage only lasted a few years and ended in 1979. In 2016, Xu Xiaofeng held a concert. This concert is no longer titled with a golden name, but with the theme "Since you can't keep your youth, why not invite Sister Xiaofeng".
