陳艷儂（Chan Yim Nung）

She is good at martial arts dramas about fighting real armies. She is known as the "number one female martial artist". She serves as the main female dancer in the "New Voice Theater Company" and co-stars with Yam Jianhui. When she joined the "Yu Wing Wah Theater", she performed with popular Cantonese opera actors such as Chen Kam-tang, Huang Chi-sui and Ouyang Jian on the Lee Stage in Hong Kong Island in October 1956 in the Cantonese opera "Unfinished Love" written by Pan Yifan. Later, when she joined the "Sing Ping Theater Company", on the evening of December 27, 1957, at the Tung Lok Theater in Kowloon, Chan Yim Nung had performed "The Prime Minister of the Six Kingdoms" by car first, and then continued to perform "The Prime Minister of the Six Kingdoms" written by the class leaders Yuan Yifei and Zhou Xianbo. In October 1958, Chan Yim Nung became a naturalized American citizen after going on stage in the United States. In the first two years, she co-starred with Huang Qiansui. Her repertoire included "Mu Guiying", "Liu Jinding", "Lü Bu", "Thirteen Sisters Make Trouble in Nengren Temple" ", "Invincible Heroine" and "Chen Gong scolds Cao" (Chen Yannong reversed the role of Wen Wusheng), etc. After Huang Qiansui returned to Hong Kong alone, Chan Yim Nung changed to the role of Wusheng and Qin Xiaoli, Xue Yanmei, Huang Jinai, Zhang Wu Liu, Wu Danhong, Yan Qunfang and other actresses, also co-starred with Huang Chaowu and Tang Weifan. After staying in the United States for more than five years, she returned to Hong Kong and passed through Honolulu, Hawaii, where she stayed for a week. She returned to Hong Kong on July 8, 1964. Although Chan Yim Nung lived in the United States, she still did not give up Cantonese opera and did not forget her motherland. She fully joined the South China Music Society, the leading folk music organization in the San Francisco Bay Area. Together with other members, she often holds charity performances, and her deeds are too numerous to mention. Fundraising performances before and after the Anti-Japanese War, fund-raising activities for Tung Wah Hospital, nursing homes and East China floods are all indispensable. Chan Yim Nung has performed for many years.
