She is a Hong Kong Cantonese opera actress who plays the role of civil and military students. She graduated from Precious Blood Primary School and Beliros Girls' High School, and studied Cantonese opera at Pat Wo Cantonese Opera Academy and Yunwen Cantonese Opera Academy. The founding instructor is Master Zeng Yu. In her early years, Liu Huiming won the championship of the Cantonese opera group in the Hong Kong Cantonese Opera Competition hosted by the TV station, the championship of the middle school dance competition, and the Chinese Children's Opera Little Plum Blossom - Medal of Honor. Wai Ming Woo is passionate about children’s Cantonese opera education and actively promotes the traditional art of Cantonese opera. She is a senior children’s Cantonese opera instructor. She has served as a Cantonese opera instructor and English Cantonese opera instructor in many kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. She often goes to schools to hold lectures and Cantonese opera workshops, and provides training for in-service teachers. She was invited by Longman Publishing House to serve as a consultant to assist in adding Cantonese opera topics to the new edition of music textbooks. She has led children on many trips to perform exchanges and held workshops to teach local children about traditional arts. She is committed to charity, visiting nursing homes and hospitals, participating in charity performances and fundraising activities, and giving back to the society. In her early years, she served as the co-ordinator of the Philippines tsunami fundraising program at the Pat Wo Association's "Love for South Asia". In 2012 and 2013, she was invited to perform fund-raising performances in Los Angeles, the United States, and Vancouver, Canada, and promoted Hong Kong operas. She also received many certificates of commendation from foreign officials. Wai Ming Woo is currently a member of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, a director of the Eight Wo Association, and a member of the Cantonese Opera Actors Association.
