Since 1975, she has served as a deputy to the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth National People's Congress and a member of the Seventh National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Shi Hui once served as the chairman of the Hong Kong South China Film Workers Association and the general manager of Qiaofa Trading Company.
