龔慈恩（Mimi Kung Che Yan）

She is a Hong Kong actress and host. Her former name is Gong Shiqian and her nickname is Doll. She is a former Asian Television actress; she is the current TVB non-drama group contracted artist. Now she is an artist under Galaxy Hairun. Kung Che Yan grew up in Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong Island in her early years. Kung Che Yan was the only daughter in the family. Her father is an accounting clerk, while her mother is behind the scenes of Lai's Voice Cantonese Opera Department. The two disciplined Kung Che Yan very strictly. Kung Che Yan graduated from St. Paul's Catholic Primary School and Xinfa College Morning School. She was not allowed to go out to play or participate in school trips while she was studying. But she was once a member of the choir in a secondary school; after graduating from Form 6, she devoted herself to social work. She first studied secretarial courses and then worked as a secretary in the law firm of Senior Barrister Wu Hanqing. Kung Che Yan was born in the first artist recruitment class after the restructuring of the TVB Artist Training Class in 1984. After graduation, she participated in a series of TV series performances. Soon she went to Taiwan and Malaysia to film local TV series. She rarely played first-line roles in TVB, so her early image was not outstanding. It was not until 1996 when she performed in TVB again, after playing the role of Guanyin in "Journey to the West". The kind expression she performed was considered to be difficult to replace. A successful masterpiece. ​ In 1999, she registered her marriage with Taiwanese actor Lin Wei in Toronto, Canada, and they had a son and a daughter. Kung Che Yan once faded away from the scene due to marriage, but in recent years she has come back as her children have grown up. In 2012, she joined Galaxy Hairun Entertainment Co., Ltd. and mainly filmed TV series and movies in Hong Kong and mainland China. In September 2019, Kung Che Yan admitted that she had been separated from her husband Lin Wei for two years and went through divorce procedures.
