陳嘉鳴 Chan Ka-ming
陳嘉鳴Chan Ka-ming出生於香港原名陳惠冰,籍貫南海,約在1970年入行,自小喜愛粵劇藝術,幼年拜「萬能旦後」鄧碧雲女士及「武術指導」任大勳先生為入室弟子。初演小生,在成長中,因外型唱腔條件關係,後改演旦角,拜得「名音樂家」朱毅剛先生為師,鍛練子喉唱腔,更跟隨「京劇名師」郭錦華女士學習武旦身段,為求個人藝術造詣能更上層樓。現時更得「京劇名家」劉洵先生指導武旦身段及北派,「藝術名家」朱秀英女士指導古腔及傳統排場,現參加各大劇團為二幫花旦,深得各界讚賞與支持。曾演出大師戲寶《蝶海情僧》,又在《聊齋驚夢》中飾演李居明大師為其設計「妖姥」一角,鋒芒畢露,在此劇中有出色的表現。
陳嘉鳴多年來除了在“碧雲天”的演出外,也曾參演大劇團的演出,包括“大龍鳳”、“雛鳳鳴”、“福陞”、“鳴芝聲”、“盛世天”等。2005年陳嘉鳴自組“嘉顯藝劇團”與演藝學院的年青演員於香港及新加坡演出《白蛇傳》、《紅娘》、《棋盤山》、《獵虎記》及《楊八姐盜刀》等劇目,旨在演繹傳統藝術的感悟,希望能藉此推動粵劇出一份力。
2016年9月27日陳嘉鳴首次擔任「八和會館 - 粵劇新秀」的藝術總監,自己主演《雄才偉略女兒兵》「飛瓊公主」一角,她調度得適度,讓每個角式都有發揮機會。散場還在後台給於意見。
陳嘉鳴的丈夫亦是粵藝界炙手可熱的擊樂和音樂領導陳小龍師傅。

Chan Ka-ming陈嘉鸣 , born in Hong Kong with the original name Chan Wai-bing, originally from Nanhai, entered the industry around 1970. She has been fond of Cantonese opera since she was a child. At an early age, she became a disciple of the "universal queen" Ms. Tang Biyun and the "martial arts instructor" Mr. Yam Daxun. She first performed as a niche student. As she grew up, due to her appearance and singing conditions, she later changed to play the role of a female actor. She became a student of the "famous musician" Mr. Zhu Yigang, and practiced his singing voice. She also learned Wudan posture from the "famous Peking Opera teacher" Ms. Guo Jinhua, and hoped that her personal artistic attainments can reach higher levels. Currently, Mr. Liu Xun, a "famous Peking Opera master", provides guidance on Wudan figure and Northern style, and Ms. Zhu Xiuying, a "famous art master", provides guidance on ancient opera and traditional pomp and circumstance. She is currently participating in major opera troupes as a second-level Hua Dan, and has won praise and support from all walks of life. She once performed in the master's opera "Butterfly Love Monk", and also played the role of the "Monk" designed by Master Li Juming in "Liao Zhai Jing Meng". She showed her sharp edge and had an outstanding performance in this play.
In addition to her performances in "Bi Yuntian", Chen Jiaming has also participated in performances by major theater companies over the years, including "Big Dragon and Phoenix", "Little Feng Ming", "Fu Sheng", "Ming Zhi Sheng", "Sheng Shi Tian", etc. . In 2005, Chen Jiaming formed her own "Jia Xian Yi Theater Company" and young actors from the Academy of Performing Arts performed in Hong Kong and Singapore in plays such as "The Legend of the White Snake", "The Matchmaker", "Qipanshan", "Tiger Hunt" and "Yang Ba Jie Steals the Knife". It aims to interpret the sentiments of traditional art and hopes to contribute to the promotion of Cantonese opera.
On September 27, 2016, Chen Jiaming served as the artistic director of "Ba Wo Guild Hall - Cantonese Opera Rising Stars" for the first time. She starred in the role of "Princess Fei Qiong" in "The Heroic Daughter Soldier". She arranged it appropriately and made every role unique. Chen Jiaming’s husband Master Chen Xiaolong is also a popular percussion and music leader in the Cantonese arts industry.
